The horror-comedy film featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna has been performing steadily at the box office since its release. On its sixteenth day, the movie collected approximately ₹1.66 crore across India, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹125.71 crore. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, the film hit theatres on October 21, 2025. The story revolves around a journalist named Alok who encounters Tadaka, a woman from an ancient clan of vampire-like beings called Betals. Their meeting leads to a complex narrative involving love, transformation, and a confrontation with the dangerous Betal leader Yakshashan, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Paresh Rawal also plays a key role in this supernatural thriller that blends dark comedy with mythological elements within Maddock's horror-comedy universe.

The film opened with an impressive ₹24 crore on its first day, driven primarily by the Hindi version. Collections dropped to ₹10 crore by Friday but recovered over the weekend with ₹13.1 crore on Saturday and ₹12.6 crore on Sunday, taking the first-week total to ₹108.4 crore. The second week added ₹15.9 crore before a weekday slowdown. Occupancy rates varied across cities, with Chennai recording the highest at 40 percent despite limited screens. Mumbai and NCR averaged 14-15 percent, while Pune, Hyderabad, and Lucknow exceeded 15 percent. Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh saw lower turnout between 10-12 percent. Tier-2 markets like Jaipur and Surat maintained 12-14 percent occupancy, showing steady pan-India presence.
