Director Milap Zaveri's latest film, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, has become a box office success despite receiving mixed reactions from critics and audiences. The romantic drama featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa has reportedly earned over ₹100 crore worldwide, according to the production team. Released on Diwali, the movie found a dedicated audience across the country even though many reviewers criticized it for outdated storytelling and awkward dialogues. Recently, Zaveri responded publicly to a harsh review posted on social media platform Twitter. A user named Nikhil Ram had shared a detailed critique on October 22, calling the film an "old-school, regressive cringe-fest." Nearly two weeks later, on a Tuesday, the filmmaker quoted the review and responded, thanking audiences for not agreeing with the critic's opinion. The film's cast also includes Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, and Ananth Narayan Mahadevan.

Director Responds to Harsh Criticism on Social Media
Milap Zaveri directly addressed a negative review of his film by quoting it on Twitter. The original review, posted by user Nikhil Ram on October 22, harshly criticized Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. It described the movie as a "regressive cringe-fest" and criticized the loud background music and dialogue seemingly written for "front benchers." While the review acknowledged strong performances and good songs, it ultimately dismissed the film as forgettable. Zaveri responded nearly two weeks later, writing, "Again so grateful audiences didn't agree with you bhai," adding heart and folded hands emojis. His reply highlighted the film's commercial success despite critical disapproval, emphasizing that general audiences responded more positively than some reviewers did.
