Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, recently shared candid details about their relationship during a podcast with Paras S Chhabra. She revealed that while Govinda willingly spends large amounts on religious rituals, he refuses to give her money for her dream project of building an animal shelter. Sunita expressed concern about the people surrounding her husband, claiming they give him poor advice and turn him against her. She stated her determination to fund her charitable plans independently without taking a single rupee from Govinda. The couple, who married in a private ceremony on March 11, 1987, have been together since before Govinda's rise to stardom in the 1990s. They kept their marriage secret for years and are parents to two children: daughter Tina Ahuja, who has acted in films, and son Yashvardhan Ahuja, who is preparing for his Bollywood debut.

Sunita's Concerns About Govinda's Circle and Financial Decisions
During the podcast, Sunita Ahuja criticized the people around Govinda, describing them as poor advisors who manipulate him. She said these individuals constantly speak negatively about her to Govinda, who believes them instead of her. Sunita emphasized that her husband needs to re-evaluate his inner circle, particularly the writers he works with, whom she called foolish. She expressed her wish for Govinda to focus on his health, lose weight, and improve his appearance. Regarding her dream of establishing an old age home and animal shelter, Sunita declared she would use her own money and not accept anything from Govinda, as he only gives money to his bootlickers rather than supporting her charitable goals.
