On Kartik Purnima, the Vishnupad Temple in Gaya witnessed a massive gathering of devotees who came to offer prayers and seek blessings. Thousands of pilgrims took holy dips in the Phalgu River even before sunrise and then visited the temple to worship Lord Vishnu's footprints, Goddess Lakshmi, and other deities. The temple premises echoed with devotional chants and hymns. Over 10,000 devotees were expected to visit the temple throughout the day. Special evening prayers, called Maha Aarti, were organized at Sita Kund and Dev Ghat. The temple management ensured proper facilities including water, cleanliness, lighting, and security for the visitors. On Wednesday night, Dev Deepavali celebrations will illuminate the ghats of Gaya with thousands of oil lamps, creating a divine spectacle of faith and devotion across the holy city.

Evening Prayers and Arrangements at Ghats
The Pratijna organization arranged a grand evening Maha Aarti at Sita Kund, decorating the ghat with flowers, garlands, and artificial lights. Organization president Brijanandan Pathak mentioned that large numbers of devotees would participate. Similarly, the Shri Phalgu Seva Samiti organized Maha Aarti at Dev Ghat. Media in-charge Chhotu Barik confirmed that cleaning and arrangement work was completed. Shri Vishnupad Management Committee chairman Shambhu Lal Vitthal requested additional female and police personnel from the administration. Essential facilities like drinking water, sanitation, lighting, and other necessities were ensured for pilgrims. On Wednesday night during Dev Deepavali, the ghats will shine brightly with oil lamps, presenting a magnificent view of faith and spirituality.
