Campaigning for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections concluded on Tuesday evening. Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh reached Mahua to support Tejaswi Yadav's elder brother Tejpratap Yadav. During her speech, she jokingly asked Tejpratap for a piece of land if he wins. Tejpratap made headlines by naming Mukesh Roshan, the RJD candidate from Mahua, as one of five traitors. He alleged that Roshan received the ticket without Lalu Yadav's knowledge while Lalu was unwell. Among political leaders, opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav held the most rallies with 83 meetings, including roadshows. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held 60 rallies, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed 15 meetings and one roadshow.
