Former Union Minister Uma Bharti launched the 'Shraddha Sankalp Abhiyan' at Prayagraj's Sangam during the Kumbh Mela. She took five holy dips in the sacred confluence, each carrying a distinct purpose. The first dip expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for organizing the grand Kumbh arrangements. Subsequent dips honored the saint community, Prayagraj residents, millions of devotees, and her lifelong commitment to keeping the Ganga pure and flowing continuously. Describing Prayagraj as her 'maternal home', Uma Bharti clarified her stay is spiritual, not political. She earlier mentioned contesting the 2029 elections from Jhansi to avoid confusion among Prayagraj workers. On the upcoming Bihar elections, she expressed confidence in NDA's victory, stating that public support firmly stands with Modi. She dismissed opposition leaders, saying their credibility has diminished.

Political Views and Bihar Election Confidence
When asked about the Bihar elections, Uma Bharti asserted that the public fully supports Prime Minister Modi. She predicted a clear NDA victory, describing the popular backing as unprecedented. Regarding opposition leaders Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, and Tejashwi Yadav, she stated their credibility has ended. She criticized Akhilesh for failing to control law and order in Uttar Pradesh and promoting casteism. She accused Rahul Gandhi of not understanding democracy's essence, referencing attacks on democracy by his own family. About Tejashwi Yadav, she mentioned he remains entangled in cases against his parents, which have persisted across governments. Uma Bharti suggested these leaders must repent before their future generations can hope for power.
