2 min read

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta held a large road show in Gopalganj, Bihar, to support BJP candidate Subhash Singh during the state assembly elections. She travelled through main city routes on an open chariot, greeting supporters who gathered in huge numbers along both sides of the roads. People showered flower petals from rooftops and balconies while raising slogans. Rekha Gupta highlighted the development work done under the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. She appealed to voters to maintain the pace of development by electing Subhash Singh, stating that only a double-engine government can take Bihar to new heights. She also criticized the opposition alliance, accusing them of trying to mislead people who once gave Bihar 'jungle raj'. Local BJP leaders and workers accompanied her during the event.

Strong Attack on Opposition Leaders and Corruption

After the road show, Rekha Gupta directly attacked RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. She made a sharp remark about Tejashwi Yadav, stating that Bihar's people will not choose someone associated with such activities. She claimed that under Nitish Kumar's leadership, women in Bihar have become empowered and progressed significantly. Rekha Gupta expressed confidence that NDA will form the government with full majority again. She emphasized that Bihar's people will not forget corruption, regardless of how many promises the opposition alliance makes. She appealed to voters to support BJP and NDA candidates for development and good governance, adding that people trust Modi and Nitish Kumar's leadership.
