2 min read

On Tuesday, a massive road show led by JP Nadda, the national president of BJP, took place in Gaya city as part of the Bihar Assembly elections. The event turned into one of the biggest political power demonstrations by the NDA. Stretching nearly 5 kilometers, the road show began from the Vishnupad Temple complex and proceeded towards Azad Park. After offering prayers at the temple, Nadda rode in an open vehicle amidst saffron flags, drums, and slogans supporting Modi government. The procession witnessed huge crowds, with people climbing rooftops and showering flowers. The event strategically aimed at strengthening BJP's position not just in Gaya Nagar seat but across 10 Assembly constituencies in the district. Candidate Dr. Prem Kumar accompanied Nadda during the show. Party workers from various areas including Imamganj, Bodhgaya, Sherghati, and others participated enthusiastically, sending a clear message about NDA's political strength in Gaya.

Strategic Show of Strength Across Multiple Constituencies

Although the road show primarily supported Gaya Nagar candidate Dr. Prem Kumar, BJP strategically organized it to cover all 10 Assembly seats in the district. Party workers from Gaya city, Imamganj, Bodhgaya, Sherghati, Tikari, Barachatti, Dumaria, Guraru, Konch, and Belaganj gathered in large numbers. Through this demonstration, BJP sent a direct message to the opposition alliance that saffron remains strong in Gaya politics. Nadda greeted the massive turnout, stating that the wave of people shows NDA's momentum in Bihar and the public's demand for development. Workers chanted slogans like 'Vikas hi Vishwas' and 'Har Ghar Modi, Har Dil BJP'. The entire city was painted in saffron, making the electoral contest appear direct and interesting.
