Madhubani district is witnessing a strong voter awareness campaign ahead of the Assembly General Elections 2025. The SVEEP cell has organized various programs to encourage citizens, especially first-time voters, to participate in the democratic process. At the Mithila Art Institute in Saurath, SVEEP icon Poonam Mishra inspired voters through folk songs and cultural performances. Young voters showed remarkable enthusiasm and pledged to not only vote themselves but also motivate their friends and families. They raised slogans emphasizing voting as a right and duty. The goal is to make Madhubani the top district in Bihar for voter turnout. Officials and dignitaries, including Padma Shri awardees, attended the event. Nodal officer Parimal Kumar stressed that voting is every citizen's responsibility and urged 100 percent participation on November 11 to strengthen democracy and achieve the highest voting percentage in the state.

Youth Lead Campaign with Pledges and Performances

The event at Mithila Art Institute featured thought-provoking discussions where first-time voters actively participated. Young attendees raised slogans like 'First Vote, Then Refreshment' and 'Our Vote, Our Right, Madhubani Ready to Vote'. They pledged to achieve the highest voting percentage in Bihar. SVEEP icon Poonam Mishra performed voter awareness songs based on local folk tunes, energizing the crowd. First-time voter Nishu Kumari delivered an artistic presentation urging all age groups to visit polling booths. Youngsters danced to the Election Commission's voter awareness rap. A hand selfie point attracted many participants. Everyone present took an oath for clean, fearless, and unbiased voting. Dignitaries including Padma Shri awardees Baua Devi, Dulari Devi, and Shivam Paswan attended.
