A pickpocketing incident occurred during a political rally in Bihar, affecting the father of popular actor and candidate Khesari LalYadav. Mangru Yadav, father of the Bhojpuri film superstar and RJD candidate from Mahua, had his pocket picked at a public meeting in Revilganj. Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav had arrived to support Khesari, drawing a large crowd. The theft happened as Mangru Yadav was leaving the venue after the rally concluded. In a video that later went viral on social media, Mangru Yadav described how 5,000 rupees were stolen from his pocket while people were taking photographs with him. He explained that thieves used the photo opportunity as a cover to empty his pocket. The incident took place on 2 November, though the video gained attention later. Others traveling with Mangru Yadav also reported losses, with one person saying their phone was stolen and another losing 300 rupees. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav held another rally at Obra, where he criticized the current government and expressed confidence about political change in Bihar.

Theft During Rally in Revilganj

The pickpocketing took place when Akhilesh Yadav addressed a rally in Revilganj to support Khesari Lal Yadav. A massive crowd had gathered, and the stage was overcrowded. Both Khesari Lal and his father Mangru Yadav were present on the platform. After the event ended, Mangru Yadav began his journey back to his home in Rasulpur. Taking advantage of the chaos and crowd, someone managed to steal from his pocket. While traveling in the car, Mangru Yadav mentioned the incident to his companions. He explained that people were clicking photos with him, and during this confusion, thieves cleaned out his pocket, taking 5,000 rupees. Two others in the vehicle also reported losses during the same rally.

Akhilesh Addresses Rally at Obra

On the same day, Akhilesh Yadav held a rally at Obra in support of candidate Rishi Kumar. He criticized the current government and predicted political change in Bihar. Akhilesh remarked that the defeat in Ayodhya still haunts the ruling party, and now they would face defeat in Magadh as well. He criticized the government for failing to provide jobs and questioned the 10,000 rupee payment scheme, calling it borrowed money not given to everyone. Akhilesh expressed confidence that Tejashwi Yadav would become the Chief Minister. He also reminded the audience about policies from his tenure in Uttar Pradesh, including providing laptops to students and vehicles to police. He assured voters that similar reforms would come to Bihar.
