On the final day of campaigning for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Grand Alliance organized a major show of strength in Darbhanga district. Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the RJD, along with Mukesh Sahni, chief of the VIP party, addressed two major public rallies. The leaders campaigned in the Darbhanga Nagar and Hayaghat assembly constituencies to gather support for their alliance candidates. In Hayaghat, they sought votes for Shyam Bharti, who is contesting against BJP candidate Ramchandra Prasad. In Darbhanga Nagar, the rally focused on supporting Umesh Sahni, who faces a tough challenge from five-time MLA and minister Sanjay Sarawagi of the BJP. Extensive security arrangements were made at both rally venues, with stages, pandals, and helipads constructed. Organizers expected thousands of supporters to attend these gatherings, marking a crucial moment in the electoral battle between the Grand Alliance and the NDA.

Campaign Rallies in Two Key Constituencies
The Grand Alliance held two significant rallies on the last day of campaigning. The first took place at Power Grid Maidan, Anar Kothi in Hayaghat, where leaders appealed for votes in favor of Shyam Bharti. His main opponent is BJP's Ramchandra Prasad, against whom local resentment has been visible. Several videos circulating on social media show villagers demanding accounts of five years' work during his public outreach. The second rally was organized at Darbhanga Raj Maidan in the Darbhanga Nagar constituency, where Umesh Sahni is competing against veteran BJP leader Sanjay Sarawagi. Both venues witnessed elaborate arrangements, including security measures, stage setups, and helipad construction. Organizers anticipated massive crowds at both locations.
