A jewellery shop in Muzaffarpur was robbed of items worth 2.50 lakh rupees during the late hours of Monday night. The thieves broke the lock and entered the store located at Manika Chowk in the Mushari police station area. They stole gold and silver ornaments along with cash from the shop. Local residents noticed the broken lock early in the morning and informed both the shop owner and the police. The shop owner, Prem Kumar Soni, had locked the store as usual before leaving for home the previous night. When he arrived at the shop after receiving calls from locals, he found the premises ransacked. Police teams reached the spot immediately and started their investigation. CCTV footage from the shop shows four suspects who planned and executed the theft systematically.

Police Investigation and CCTV Evidence
The Mushari police station team examined the CCTV cameras installed in the shop. The footage clearly shows four young men cutting the lock with a cutter and entering the shop late at night. Police have taken possession of the footage and started the identification process. Mushari police station in-charge Subodh Kumar Mehta stated that a written complaint has been taken from the shopkeeper. An FIR will be registered based on the application and legal action will be taken. Officers have been directed to check CCTV cameras installed in nearby areas as well. The investigation is underway to identify the thieves and solve the case soon.
