The first phase of campaign for Bihar Assembly elections ended with Tejashwi Yadav addressing multiple rallies in Samastipur and Muzaffarpur districts. The Mahagathbandhan chief ministerial candidate held a joint public meeting at Nursery Park in Warisnagar for Kalyanpur and Warisnagar constituencies, appealing to voters to support CPI-ML candidates. He claimed to have covered 17 rallies in a single day, comparing his helicopter to a tractor and alleging that BJP deployed 30 helicopters to follow him. Tejashwi promised government jobs to families without employment, free electricity for irrigation, and Rs 2,500 monthly under the 'Mai Bahin Yojana' scheme for women. He announced that women would receive Rs 30,000 on 14th January (Makar Sankranti) as an annual lump sum payment. He criticized Prime Minister Modi for setting up factories in Gujarat while seeking votes from Bihar, urging people to support the Mahagathbandhan for development.

Promises for Jobs, Women's Welfare and Agricultural Relief
Tejashwi Yadav outlined several welfare measures if the Mahagathbandhan forms the government. He pledged to provide government jobs to at least one member of every family currently without employment. Under the 'Mai Bahin Yojana', women would receive Rs 2,500 monthly, with the entire year's amount of Rs 30,000 transferred on 14th January during Makar Sankranti. He promised to make electricity free for irrigation purposes to support farmers. Additionally, all contractual employees would be given permanent positions. Tejashwi emphasized his focus on education, healthcare, employment and action, contrasting it with what he called the divisive politics of weapons and hatred promoted by the opposition.
