2 min read

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, addressed a public rally in Aurangabad, Gaya, on November 4, 2025. Holding up the Constitution, he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of stealing votes in collaboration with the Election Commission. He claimed that without vote theft, the India alliance would have formed the government in Delhi. Gandhi asserted that if Bihar's youth prevent vote manipulation, the grand alliance will form the government in the state. He criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and PM Modi for failing to provide employment to Bihar's youth, who migrate to other states for work. Gandhi also attacked Modi over his Chhath Puja celebrations, calling it drama for votes, and alleged that Bihar's government operates on orders from Delhi, favoring industrialists Adani and Ambani while neglecting common people.

Accusations of Vote Theft and Alliance Victory

Rahul Gandhi displayed the Constitution and stated it guarantees one vote per person. He accused Modi and Shah of stealing votes with the Election Commission's help. Recalling Modi's slogan of crossing 400 seats, which did not materialize, Gandhi claimed that without vote manipulation, the India alliance would have governed Delhi. He urged Bihar's youth to prevent such theft in upcoming elections. Gandhi declared that Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi cannot win Bihar elections without stealing votes. He expressed confidence that if people stop vote theft, the grand alliance will form the government in Bihar, ending the current regime's hold on power.

Criticism of Unemployment and Paper Leaks

Gandhi questioned why Bihar's youth work as laborers across India and abroad when they possess the talent and energy to build cities like Dubai and Bengaluru. He blamed Nitish Kumar and Modi for gifting unemployment to Bihar's youth. Referring to Nalanda University's historic global reputation, he contrasted it with today's scenario where Bihar universities are known only for paper leaks benefiting those with connections. Gandhi alleged that honest students are left helpless after months of preparation. He criticized the state's poor healthcare and education systems, stating that Bihar's government functions on orders from Delhi, prioritizing industrialists over common citizens' needs.
