On the final day of campaigning for the first phase of elections, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav conducted a road show in Phulwari Sharif assembly constituency on November 4. The JDU candidate here is Shyam Rajak, who was once very close to Lalu. A day earlier, Lalu campaigned in Danapur against BJP candidate Ramkripal, another former close associate. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav announced that if their government is formed, women will receive 30,000 rupees at once under the Mai Bahin scheme on January 14. In other developments, Tejpratap Yadav criticized his younger brother Tejashwi, calling him a child. In Ara, RJD supporters blocked Prashant Kishor's convoy during his road show. AIMIM candidate Tausif Alam from Bahadurganj made threatening remarks against Tejashwi, calling him the son of a fodder thief. Campaigning for 121 seats will end at 5 PM today.

Lalu Campaigns Against Former Close Allies in Phulwari Sharif
Lalu Prasad Yadav held a road show in Phulwari Sharif assembly constituency, where JDU has fielded Shyam Rajak as their candidate. Shyam Rajak was once extremely close to Lalu. The road show started from Khoja Imli and passed through Tamtam Padav, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Isapur, Nohsa, AIIMS Mod Chowk, BNP 16, and ended at Rashtriya Ganj. On the previous day, Lalu campaigned in Danapur against BJP candidate Ramkripal, who was also once very close to the RJD chief. Both former allies are now contesting against candidates from parties opposing Lalu's grand alliance in these crucial assembly elections.
