Bihar assembly elections entered the final day of campaigning for the first phase on November 4, 2025, with electioneering set to end at 5 PM. Several senior leaders from the National Democratic Alliance addressed public gatherings across the state. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held rallies in Raghopur and Fatuha, while Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma spoke in Siwan. BJP leaders Shahnawaz Hussain, Ravi Kishan, and Union Minister Chirag Paswan also targeted opposition leaders with sharp criticism. The NDA leaders focused on contrasting their vision of development with what they called the opposition's past record of lawlessness. Meanwhile, opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav had earlier announced plans to take oath as chief minister on November 18, which drew mockery from NDA leaders who expressed confidence in retaining power under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership.

NDA Leaders Attack Opposition in Final Campaign Push

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed a rally in Raghopur, Tejashwi Yadav's stronghold, drawing a sharp contrast between the two alliances. He said NDA invites people to a developed Bihar, while the opposition threatens violence. Rajnath Singh held four public meetings, including one in Fatuha, Patna. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma spoke in Siwan, referencing past crimes associated with Mohammad Shahabuddin and his family, calling it a stain that must be removed. BJP leaders Shahnawaz Hussain and Ravi Kishan criticized Tejashwi Yadav's confidence about forming government, calling it overconfidence masking inevitable defeat. Chirag Paswan mocked Tejashwi's announcement about taking oath on November 18, comparing it to impossible dreams. He asserted that NDA would return to power under Nitish Kumar on November 14.
