Hilsa-1 DSP Shailja informed on Wednesday that the Nagarnausa station in-charge had received secret information that three persons from Kachiyawan village had hidden illegal weapons in their homes. Considering the seriousness of the information, the station in-charge immediately informed senior officers. A special team was formed under the leadership of Hilsa DSP-1 for verification of the information and necessary action, along with armed forces for the raid. The police team, along with the Nagarnausa station in-charge and CAPF personnel, reached Kachiyawan village and conducted simultaneous raids on three houses.
