SaralnamaOn Wednesday, famous poet and Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi thundered in Kasba, Purnia. The public meeting was held at the high school ground located in Shrinagar block of Kasba. He had come to hold an election rally in support of Congress candidate Mohammad Irfan Alam from the Grand Alliance for the Kasba assembly constituency. While addressing the election meeting, Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi recited political poetry. He launched a scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda and CM Nitish Kumar. Former MLA of Kasba assembly Afaq Alam was also targeted in the meeting. The Congress leader taunted him by calling him elderly. This angered a section of the crowd present at the meeting. People standing in the crowd protested against this and declared their intention to vote for MLA and independent candidate Afaq Alam.
