Saralnama, a unique statue of Lord Chitragupta made from dry fruits became the center of attraction at the Chitragupta Puja celebration in Patna, Bihar. The Kayastha Chitragupta Sena Bihar Pradesh installed the grand statue at Chandra Banquet Hall, Bhootnath. Sculptor Jitendra used about 15,000 dry fruits including cashews, pistachios, raisins, and pumpkin seeds to create the idol. The head and hands were made from pistachio shells, while the clothing was crafted from cashew outer layers. Bay leaves formed the background.
