Forty-eight candidates are contesting five assembly seats in Supaul district, Bihar. Voting will take place on for the second phase of the general assembly election. Pipra and Chhatapur constituencies have the most candidates with 13 each, while Triveniganj has the least with 5. Nirmali has 8 candidates and Supaul has 9. The district has 1,539,242 voters, including 808,795 men and 730,433 women. Chhatapur has the highest number of voters at 333,265. The Election Officer, Sawan Kumar, announced that ballot printing will be done in Kolkata after verification in Patna. Vote counting will begin at 8 AM on at BSS College, Supaul.
