SaralnamaJayaram Mahto from Barahi Anandpura village in Bihar died after being thrown from a train by robbers. Today, his body arrived in the village, causing grief among family members. Jayaram worked as a vegetable seller in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh., he boarded a train from Jagadhri station to Patna Junction with his family to celebrate Chhath Puja. Between Varanasi and Kashi stations, thieves tried to snatch his mobile phone. When he resisted, they threw him off the train. His wife Fekni Devi said Jayaram had gone to the toilet and didn't return. She and her children got off at the next station to search for him.
