BRABU Faces Teacher Shortage for 4 New Subjects

Four new subjects introduced in BRABU's fourth semester graduate program for 2023-27 lack teachers to prepare question papers. These subjects, including NSS, Scout Guide, NGO, and NCC, were implemented after approval from the Academic Council. Colleges were asked to teach these subjects, but the lack of instructors has hindered the process. No nodal department has been created to coordinate the teaching. Prof. Ram Kumar, BRABU's exam controller, says subject experts from other universities will prepare the questions. After Chhath holidays, exams for various courses including law and B.Ed. will be held. The exam department will issue forms for these tests after the holiday.
