Saralnama5 candidates were named in Congress's second list for Bihar Assembly elections. Jitendra Yadav will contest from Purnia Sadar and Md. Irfan Alam from Kasba. Pappu Yadav had earlier hinted at giving Congress symbol to Jalil Mastan for Kasba and Banmankhi seats. Santosh Kushwaha filed nomination from Dhamdaha as RJD candidate on 3rd day. Bima Bharti, 5-time MLA, filed nomination for Rupauli. Announcements for Baisi, Amour, and Banmankhi seats are pending. AIMIM's Syed Rukunuddin won Amour last time but later joined RJD.
