Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Tejashwi Yadav continued their Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar on 28 Aug 2025. They visited the Mata Janaki temple in Sitamarhi for prayers. The 12-day journey aims to raise voter awareness and protest against alleged voter list irregularities. Large crowds of farmers, workers, and youth welcomed them warmly in Sitamarhi and nearby areas like Riga and Bairgania. Former MLA Amit Kumar Tunna said Mithila has been a Congress stronghold, recalling visits by Indira and Rajiv Gandhi. The yatra covers many districts and will end with a march in Patna on 1 Sept.
