A 55-year-old man named Vindeshwar Thakur died from an electric shock while working at a hotel near Pamra Bridge in Parsouni on Wednesday afternoon. He was doing furniture work when he accidentally touched a hanging live wire. People took him home, but he died at the spot. Police reached the place and sent the body for postmortem to Sitamarhi. Local leaders from JDU also visited and spoke with the family. The electricity department was asked to investigate and provide government aid.
