A staff member at a petrol pump in Dighra, Muzaffarpur, embezzled ₹11.53 lakh worth of diesel and petrol. He used fake signatures of the Maniyari police station in-charge on coupons. The fraud occurred from to. The pump owner, Avinash Chandra, filed an FIR against Ankit Kumar at Sadar police station. Police are questioning Ankit. The total dues for fuel supply to Maniyari police vehicles were ₹26.59 lakh. Of this, ₹15.06 lakh was paid, leaving ₹11.53 lakh unpaid.
