September 29, 2025, Lucknow — Uttar Pradesh authorities have seized illegal properties worth ₹24 crore belonging to Mukhtar Ansari gang’s key operative Riyaz Ansari and his associate Parvez Jamal as part of ongoing crackdown on organized crime.
The action is part of the state government’s continued drive against gangsters and mafia elements operating in Uttar Pradesh. Police have been tightening the noose on criminal networks and their illegal assets across the state.
