On August 27, 2025, Rahul Gandhi continued his Voter Adhikar Yatra from Darbhanga to Muzaffarpur in Bihar. The yatra aims to raise awareness about voter rights and alleged irregularities in the electoral rolls. Rahul Gandhi, along with leaders like Priyanka Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, rode motorcycles through the streets, drawing large crowds. He accused BJP and the Election Commission of vote theft and urged people to protect their voting rights and the Constitution. The yatra started on August 17 from Sasaram and will cover over 1,300 km across 20 districts, ending with a rally in Patna on September 1. Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin is also expected to join the yatra. This event is seen as an important political movement ahead of the Bihar elections. (Updated 28 Aug 2025, 14:09 IST; source: link)
