SaralnamaOn 27 Aug 2025, nine people died in a road accident in Malawan village, Hilsa block, Nalanda district. The accident involved a truck from Ultratech company and an auto-rickshaw. Rural Development Minister Shrawan Kumar and local MLA Krishna Murari Sharan visited the village but faced anger from locals for delayed help and compensation. Jan Suraj leader Manoj Bharti accused the administration and MLA of hiding facts and demanded ₹50 lakh compensation from Ultratech for each family. Jan Suraj gave immediate financial aid and warned of a campaign if compensation is not paid.
