Three terrorists from the Pakistan-based group Jaish-e-Mohammed entered Bihar through the Nepal border in [August 2025. The Bihar Police identified them as Hasnain Ali, Adil Hussain, and Mohammad Usman. They reached Kathmandu in mid-August and crossed into Bihar last week. The police have issued a high alert and increased surveillance in border districts like Madhubani, Sitamarhi, and Supaul. Security forces are closely monitoring suspicious activities to prevent any threat to events like the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' and upcoming Bihar elections. Bihar shares a 729-kilometre open border with Nepal, making infiltration a challenge. Citizens should report any unusual movement near border areas to local police immediately.
