Rajinikanth’s film Coolie continues to lead the Indian box office with a collection of ₹267.54 crore on its 14th day. Released on 14 August 2025 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, it became the fourth-highest-grossing Tamil film ever. Coolie broke records during the extended Independence Day weekend. The film showed strong occupancy rates in Tamil and Telugu markets. Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2, also released on 14 August, earned ₹229.71 crore by day 14 but saw a decline in daily collections. War 2 had a strong opening but could not keep pace with Coolie.
