Catholic School Shooting in Minneapolis Kills Two Children

On 27 Aug 2025, a gunman opened fire at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in south Minneapolis. Two children, aged 8 and 10, died, and 17 others were injured, including 14 children. The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, fired through church windows during a mass and then took their own life. Police and emergency teams responded quickly.
