Shaheen Afridi, Pakistan’s fast bowler, is improving after a tough time with injuries and loss of pace. Since early 2023, Afridi struggled with knee and back injuries, affecting his speed and swing. He was even dropped from the team for some matches. But Pakistan’s bowling coach Ashley Noffke says Afridi is now bowling faster, reaching speeds over 140 km/h again.
