Rapper Lil Nas X was arrested in Los Angeles on 21 Aug 2025. Police found him walking nearly naked and said he charged at officers. He was taken to hospital for possible overdose. On 25 Aug, he pleaded not guilty to four felony charges, including battery on police officers and resisting arrest. He paid $75,000 bail and was released. Lil Nas X said on Instagram that he is okay after a terrifying four days. He faces up to five years in prison if convicted. His lawyer said this was an unusual incident and his father asked for prayers. Lil Nas X is famous for his hit song Old Town Road and for supporting LGBT rights.
