Indian shooter Anish Bhanwala won the silver medal in the men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event at the 2025 Asian Shooting Championships. The event took place in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Anish scored 35 points, just one less than the gold medalist Su Lianbofan from China. He led after the first four series but finished second. India has won 72 medals so far in the competition, including 39 golds. The championships also featured strong performances by junior shooters and other Indian athletes like Olympian Sift Kaur Samra, who won gold in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions event.
