An FIR was filed against Tamil actor and TVK leader Vijay and 10 others after a worker named Sarathkumar was injured at a TVK state conference on 20 Aug 2025 in Parapathi, Madurai. Sarathkumar said Vijay’s bouncers pushed him while he tried to climb the ramp, causing a chest injury from the fall. The complaint was registered by Kunnam police after being submitted to Perambalur police. The event had over 1.5 lakh attendees, with fans crowding to see Vijay. Videos showed fans trying to get close to Vijay, with some being pushed away by security. Vijay has not yet commented on the FIR.
