Pahlaj Nihalani, former CBFC chief, spoke about the film Udta Punjab and its certification. He said co-producers Jeetendra and Balaji Motion Pictures accepted the required cuts. Nihalani claimed Anurag Kashyap delayed the release for marketing reasons. He criticised current CBFC Chairperson Prasoon Joshi for not attending office regularly. Nihalani also commented on actor Vivek Oberoi, saying Oberoi should keep vulgarity to his personal life and questioned his work availability. Nihalani said he was offered to return as CBFC chief but refused. He believes the CBFC needs better system streamlining and suggested dividing the 'A' certificate into subcategories.
