Cracker Barrel Apologizes for New Logo but Keeps It
Saralnama

The US restaurant chain Cracker Barrel apologized after many people disliked its new logo. The new logo removed the old man leaning on a barrel and the words 'Old Country Store.' Some, including Donald Trump, asked the company to bring back the old logo. Cracker Barrel said it could have explained the change better but will keep the new logo. The company wants to attract younger customers while keeping its old style inside restaurants. They will continue to honour Uncle Herschel, the man in the old logo, on menus and products. The company also said it will listen to customers and employees as it moves forward. Since the new logo started on 18 August, Cracker Barrel’s shares dropped over 10%. The company said many things, like rocking chairs and antiques, will not change. (Updated 27 Aug 2025, 01:35 IST; source: link)
