The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) will build cricket stadiums at all 33 district centres in the state. This plan aims to improve cricket facilities and help young players train professionally. The RCA Adhoc Committee, led by DD Kumawat, is responsible for this work. A seven-member Ground and Stadium Development Committee, chaired by Ashish Tiwari, will find land, manage leases, and oversee construction. The project will use support from District Cricket Associations and CSR funds. These stadiums will allow RCA to hold state-level tournaments in different districts. The effort is part of the state government's plan to revive cricket and give players more chances to compete at higher levels. This move will help develop cricket at the grassroots level across Rajasthan. (Updated 26 Aug 2025, 23:29 IST; source: link)
