IIT Delhi has started a one-year online Post-Graduate Diploma in Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology. The course is run by its Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology. It is designed for engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals interested in green mobility. Topics include battery management, power electronics, powertrain design, charging infrastructure, safety systems, and AI in EVs. Classes will be live online with an on-campus lab module. Students will do simulations, case studies, assignments, and a research project. Admission is based on academic merit and professional background. The course fee is ₹4,50,000 plus 18% GST.
