New Zealand's white-ball captain Mitchell Santner will likely miss the T20I series against Australia due to abdominal surgery. Santner needs about one month to recover after surgery following his return from the UK. Coach Rob Walter said Santner is a key player and hopes he will be fit in time. Other players like Glenn Phillips, Will O’Rourke, and Finn Allen are also injured.
