Former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram said Martin Crowe was the best batsman he ever bowled to. Akram played 104 Tests and 356 ODIs from 1984 to 2003. He dismissed many great players like Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting. But he chose Crowe for his skill against reverse swing, which was new then. Crowe played 77 Tests and 143 ODIs for New Zealand and scored over 10,000 runs. Akram also said he prefers the World Test Championship over the World Cup. He named Waqar Younis as his favourite bowling partner and called Aaqib Javed an underrated bowler. Akram led Pakistan to the 1999 ODI World Cup final and is known as the Sultan of Swing.
