A 22-year-old YouTuber, Sagar Tudu from Berhampur, Ganjam district, went missing after being swept away by strong currents at Duduma waterfall in Koraput district, Odisha. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon while he was filming reels for his YouTube channel with his friend Abhijit Behera. Sagar was standing on a large rock in the waterfall when the water flow suddenly increased due to the release of about 2,000 cusecs of water from the Machkund dam following heavy rainfall in the Lamtaput area. Despite rescue attempts by locals and tourists using ropes, Sagar was carried away by the fast-flowing water. The entire event was recorded on a mobile phone. Police and fire brigade teams, along with the State Disaster Response Force, have launched a search operation, but Sagar remains untraced. Authorities had issued alerts prior to the water release.
