Despite being outnumbered by a 3,000-strong Chinese force, these soldiers inflicted heavy casualties. The film has crossed ₹14 crore domestically by its seventh day.

The Story Behind 120 Bahadur and Box Office Performance

Set during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, 120 Bahadur tells the story of 120 soldiers from Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, primarily composed of Ahir soldiers. They fought valiantly at the Battle of Rezang La, facing a 3,000-strong Chinese Army force. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the film stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and Raashii Khanna as his wife. Amitabh Bachchan provides narration. The film earned ₹2.25 crore on its opening day, rising to ₹3.85 crore on Saturday and ₹4 crore on Sunday. Its first weekend collection totalled around ₹10.11 crore. By the seventh day, it reportedly crossed ₹14 crore domestically, showing steady growth.
