The Railway Recruitment Boards are closing applications today, November 27, 2025, for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) recruitment drive. This initiative aims to fill 3058 vacancies across various clerical positions in Indian Railways. Interested candidates must submit their applications through the official websites of regional RRBs before the deadline. The largest number of openings is for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk with 2424 posts, followed by Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Trains Clerk positions. Applicants have until November 29, 2025, to complete their application fee payment. A correction window will be available from November 30 to December 9, 2025, allowing candidates to modify their submitted applications. The selection process includes multiple computer-based tests, typing skill assessment, document verification, and medical examination. Specific dates and venues for these activities will be announced by the respective RRBs later.

Vacancy Distribution and Application Process

The recruitment will fill 3058 positions with the following distribution: 2424 vacancies for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 394 posts for Accounts Clerk cum Typist, 163 openings for Junior Clerk cum Typist, and 77 positions for Trains Clerk. Candidates must register on the official regional RRB websites, create an account, complete the application form, and pay the fee. The application fee payment deadline extends until November 29, 2025. After submission, applicants should download and keep a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference. The selection includes Computer-Based Test 1, CBT 2, Computer-Based Typing Skill Test, document verification, and medical examination. CBT 1 serves as a screening test with 100 questions covering General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning, with 90 minutes duration.
