Nationwide Student Participation in Patriotic Storytelling

Project Veer Gatha 5.0 is a national educational initiative that encourages students across India to explore and celebrate the stories of brave soldiers and national heroes. Launched in 2021, the project has grown significantly, with nearly 2 crore students participating from 36 states and union territories. The program aligns with the National Education Policy 2020's goal of experiential learning, allowing students to create creative entries that honor the sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces personnel.

This year, Project Veer Gatha expanded its reach by including Indian schools located abroad, demonstrating its growing national and international appeal. The project will recognize outstanding contributions through a structured selection process, with 100 national winners receiving a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 each. Additionally, 2,956 district-level and 288 state/union territory-level winners will be acknowledged, highlighting the program's comprehensive approach to celebrating national pride and student creativity. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla from the Indian Air Force delivered a motivational message to inspire participants, emphasizing the importance of understanding and remembering the heroic stories of India's warriors.
