Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has removed all wedding-related posts from her social media after her marriage to music composer Palash Muchhal was indefinitely postponed. The couple, who have been in a relationship for six years, were scheduled to marry in an intimate ceremony in Sangli on November 23. However, celebrations were halted when Smriti's father, Shrinivas Mandhana, experienced symptoms of a possible heart attack during breakfast and was rushed to Sarvhit Hospital. He remains under observation. The situation worsened when Palash was also hospitalized the next day in Sangli, though he has since been discharged and returned to Mumbai. Following these health emergencies, the Indian vice-captain decided to postpone the wedding indefinitely. Pre-wedding festivities, including Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet, and a cricket match between bride and groom teams, had already taken place with Indian women's cricket team members attending.

Health Emergencies Lead to Indefinite Wedding Postponement
The wedding festivities came to an abrupt stop when Shrinivas Mandhana fell seriously ill during breakfast. Initially, the family hoped it was minor, but he was transported by ambulance to Sarvhit Hospital where he continues to be monitored. Smriti immediately decided to postpone the wedding until her father's condition improved. Adding to the family's distress, Palash Muchhal was also hospitalized in Sangli the following day. Though he was later discharged and returned to Mumbai, the consecutive medical emergencies convinced the couple to indefinitely halt all celebrations. Smriti deleted engagement announcements, proposal videos, and all wedding content from social media. Teammates Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil also removed the engagement confirmation video they had shared earlier.
