The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has announced details for the IBPS Clerk Mains examination scheduled for 2025. Candidates who successfully cleared the preliminary round are now eligible to download their admit cards for the main examination. The mains exam will assess candidates across four sections with a total of 190 questions carrying 200 marks, to be completed within 120 minutes. Selected candidates will be appointed to clerical positions in various participating public sector banks across India. The monthly salary for IBPS Clerk positions ranges from ₹24,050 to ₹40,000, along with allowances including House Rent Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Travel Allowance, and other benefits as per government regulations. A total of 15,684 vacancies are available through this recruitment cycle. Exam Pattern, Participating Banks and Salary Details

The mains examination comprises four sections: Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude with 40 questions for 60 marks in 35 minutes, English Language with 40 questions for 40 marks in 35 minutes, Quantitative Aptitude with 35 questions for 50 marks in 30 minutes, and General/Financial Awareness with 40 questions for 50 marks in 20 minutes. The participating banks include Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank, UCO Bank, and Union Bank of India. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary between ₹24,050 and ₹40,000 plus HRA, DA, TA, and other government-mandated allowances.
