2 min read

Ravindra Jadeja has achieved a remarkable milestone in Test cricket by becoming only the fourth all-rounder to record 4000 runs and 300 wickets in the format. The Gujarat cricketer joins an elite group featuring legends Kapil Dev, Ian Botham, and Daniel Vettori. This achievement came during India's Test match against South Africa at Eden Gardens on November 15. Jadeja also created history in the World Test Championship by becoming the first bowler to reach 150 wickets and 2500 runs in the tournament across 47 matches. Additionally, he became the fourth spinner to claim 250 or more wickets in India, joining Ravichandran Ashwin, Anil Kumble, and Harbhajan Singh. His fourth wicket in the second innings against South Africa, dismissing Tristan Stubbs, marked his 250th Test wicket on Indian soil.
