The Anta Assembly bypoll in Rajasthan has become a prestige battle for the Congress party, which is deploying an intensive grassroots campaign to reclaim the seat. After losing five Assembly bypolls last year, Congress has sent around 30 leaders to conduct door-to-door outreach based on caste and community connections. The party has assigned Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, and Seva Dal workers at the booth level. The BJP has countered by appointing Dushyant Singh, MP from Jhalawar-Baran, as election in-charge. The bypoll was triggered after sitting BJP MLA Kanwarlal Meena was disqualified in May under a 20-year-old criminal case. Voting is scheduled for November 11, with results on November 14. Fifteen candidates are contesting, with the main fight among Congress's Pramod Jain Bhaya, BJP's Morpal Suman, and independent Naresh Meena.

Congress Strategy and BJP Response in Anta Bypoll
The Congress has deployed leaders to connect with voters across Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, minorities, and upper castes through mandal and village-level meetings. Senior leaders including Govind Singh Dotasra, Sachin Pilot, and Tikaram Jully will visit soon. Former minister Shakuntala Rawat and others target Gujjar voters, while Amin Pathan and MD Chopdar focus on Muslim areas. The BJP has intensified its campaign with a committee featuring two MPs, nine MLAs, and two ministers. The party fielded Morpal Suman, Baran Panchayat Samiti Pradhan from the Mali community, to project a local face. Anta, created in 2008, has alternated between Congress and BJP, with Pramod Jain Bhaya winning in 2008 and 2018.
